Dr. Mantena's Special - Mango Lemonade
Today’s Dr. Mantena’s special is a healthy and
refreshing summer drink called ‘Mango Lemonade’. Though the summer is at its
end mangoes are still available and so is the lemon; then why not try this
wonderful chiller?
Mango shake is a very common drink during summer but
unlike mango shake mango lemonade is sweet and tangy. I tried at home and it is
a delightful drink. Children would enjoy this drink for sure. It is very
simple, easy to make and less time consuming. So why to waste any time let’s go
into the preparation details.
Ingredients:
Mango - ½ slice
Lemon - 1
Honey - 1 tbs
Serving : 2
Method:
1. Take half a slice of the mango and chop into pieces
and put aside in a bowl.
2. Grind the mango pieces into thick pulp adding little
amount of water.
3. Fill 1/4th glass of mango pulp, squeeze half
slice of a lemon juice into the glass, add ½ tbs of honey and mix them well with a
spoon.
4. Finally add chilled water from an earthen pot and
enjoy the drink.
